Someone who adopted from TACN has discovered a very friendly dog straying nearby their community everyday. Because the area is mainly business buildings, it’s very hard for a dog like this one to survive for long without substantial supply of food and water. And the security guard wasn’t particularly kind to animals.

After receiving this information we communicated with the kind lady who agreed to help capture the dog and then transport him to our partner clinic for checkup. We named him Gin Gin (means Gold in Chinese) due to his golden coloured fur. Upon arrival at the clinic, we found out that Gin Gin has canine distemper, it’s only very early stage so the vet was positive on treating him.

Gin Gin was quarantined at the clinic for several weeks, with the care and treatment provided, luckily he fought off the distemper, gained strength and recovered. Gin Gin came to the shelter after being released from the clinic and has made many new friends. Although he enjoys the life at the shelter, he would love to find a home to call his own.
